I recently saw a handprint idea online for Father’s Day and thought it would be so fun to do with my daughter. However, I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.

So, I designed my own printable with a little princess wearing a crown and words that read, “Always Your Princess”, in a darling font. And it’s free for you to download!

This sweet 8×10-inch handprint art would be perfect as a card and is also a great keepsake idea. You can also use it for Mother’s Day or Grandparent’s Day.

We recommend downloading the files to your computer first to ensure the best quality when printing.

PRINT

All you need to print this file is your home printer and either this 8.5×11-inch cardstock or paper. I use an HP Smart Printer and highly recommend it. I also have a subscription to HP Instant Ink, and I never run out of ink!

MAKE

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Cardstock
Craft Paint
Paintbrush
Glitter (optional)

Step 1. To make your handprint craft, open your document using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Add custom text to the bottom of the document or leave it blank.

Step 2. Once your document is printed, turn the page around so that the princess head is closest to you.

Step 3. Paint your child’s hand. The right hand will stamp on the left side of the girl and the left hand will stamp on the right side of the girl. (Remember the page is upside down – not the right way up).

Step 4. Add glitter to the paint before it dries, otherwise wait for it to dry before framing it or turning into a card.
